They may have worked towards qualifications in Functional Skills, and are able to manage anxieties through coping skills. This pathway is perfect for those looking to gain a solid foundation of skills and knowledge in vocational industries to boost their career prospects.

What you need to get on

Students need to be aged 16 - 25 and have an Education, Health and Care plan (EHCP). Our Preparing for Work or Further Study pathway is appropriate for students who are aiming to progress on to courses in general further education or into employment. Students on this pathway should be working at Entry Level 2 or above academically, and can be supported 1:6 unless there is a specific need identified in their EHCP.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
