What the college says

This qualification will enable you to develop foundation skills in textile crafts. It will provide you with knowledge of a range of craft processes and prepare you to progress onto further study in this area. Learners will develop a portfolio of work in textile craft, use materials, tools and equipment correctly and safely and develop an understanding of health and safety considerations in the craft environment.

What you need to get on

This course is for anyone aged 19 or over. Basic IT skills are essential. You are expected to complete the 5 week free Introduction to Creative Craft as this will prepare you for progression.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
