On completion of this course, many students choose to progress to the wide range of specialist Music Technology and Recording courses that are available throughout the country. Job roles in this sector include Studio Technician and Music Producer. Students may go on to study Music Technology and Media courses at university and pursue careers in Audio Production, Music Video Production and Sound Design.

What you need to get on

Six GCSEs Grade 5 or above. Music is desirable. Basic skills on an instrument are essential however.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
