The Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Advanced GCE in Music Technology consists of two externally-examined papers and two non-examined assessment components. Component 1: Recording (NEA) Component 2: Technology-Based Composition (NEA) Component 3: Listening and Analysing (written exam) Component 4: Producing and analysing (written and practical exam)

What you need to get on

4 GCSEs at Grades 9-5 and at least a Grade 5 at GCSE Music. Students who have not taken GCSE Music may be accepted on to the A level course if they can demonstrate practical and theoretical skills at the equivalent level.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
