At A Level, students experience all three main music technology disciplines of recording, sequencing and producing. In addition, the course also offers composition. The course therefore builds upon the skills developed in BTEC Music Technology course. Listening work is based around the development of music technology and production techniques.

What you need to get on

Standard Sixth Form entry (3 GCSEs at Grade 5 and 2 GCSEs at Grade 4) including Grade 5 in Science and Maths and a strong interest in music

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
