This one year course is designed for students who are looking to develop their music performance and production skills, for a career in the music industry or higher education.
What you need to get on
Five GCSEs at grade 3 including English Language or Mathematics. Entry is by audition and interview to demonstrate that you are advanced enough with your instrument/voice/digital compositions to start composing and rehearsing with a band.
How you are assessed
One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
