Are you wanting to start your journey into a music career? Do you want to learn about how to create music in industry standard studio spaces? This music course teaches you the skills you need to start a career in music including: Composing tracks using DAWs such as Logic Pro and Ableton, Recording vocals and instruments in industry standard studios, Studying the music industry.

What you need to get on

3 GCSEs grade 9-3 (A*-D) or a related Level 1 vocational qualification including, English and maths. Equivalence of these qualifications will be considered. If you are a performer you will need to audition two pieces on your chosen instrument or as a vocalist. You will need to bring the backing tracks in for the audition or have the YouTube links for the instrumental version of the song.You may also audition your own compositions. If you are a producer you will need to bring in two projects

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
