This course has been designed for students who wish to increase their skills, knowledge and understanding of music production and Music Performance, enabling them to progress to further study and training in a range of music performance and production disciplines. You will be taken through all of the relevant skills needed for Performers and Producers working in the modern music industry. Embedded throughout the course, learners will get the chance to develop their own online presence, marketing campaigns and multimedia content. This has been designed to help you start your career in the industry as soon as you start your course with us. Your first year allows you to build skills through a variety of exciting and engaging multi-faceted projects. Building skills around production and performance as well as composition and digital marketing and online portfolio development. The second year of the course allows you to have more freedom looking at different areas of the industry including Music for Film, TV and Games exploring sound design, composition and foley. As well as developing performance and production. You will have the opportunity to use industry-standard recording equipment and take part in a number of public performances; including live gigs, theatre productions and festivals. What you need to get on

This course requires a minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade A*-C. One of these will be a grade 4/ C or above (Previously C) in either Maths or English. Depending on previous attainment levels, you may also be enrolled onto functional skills in Maths and English to help you develop your skills.
