This programme is designed to give learners a solid base for work in the dynamic music industry as a creative music technician, producer, recording artist or allow progression to a higher-level course.
What you need to get on
5 GCSEs (9-4) including English, or Level 2 Functional Skills equivalent, or satisfactory results (Merit/Distinction) in a relevant Level 2 qualification, and an interview with a portfolio of relevent evidence. Candidates are expected to be able to demonstrate some prior experience of either music software sequencing or sound recording. This could be a portfolio of tracks they have produced either on CD/DVD or online.
