If you’re in year 11 or 12 and are looking to take the next steps towards your career these courses are for you. Our vast selection of vocational courses span a range of subjects and combine academic study with practical skills. Study in industry standard facilities and use our industry links to prepare for progression.

What you need to get on

Four GCSEs at grade 3 including English or maths. You will also be required to attend an interview and audition, where you should be able to demonstrate that you have an interest in music and some skills to perform on an instrument or voice.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
