What the college says

This course aims to nurture and develop a lifelong love of music, which is one of the most individual forms of self-expression. The A Level will be delivered through activities which combine the three main areas of music: Performance, Composition and Appraisal. Music students are open minded and interested; they have a talent for performance and a commitment to practice and additional instrumental lessons. Our A-Level musicians are often the backbone of our performances at The Elizabethan, and have helped us to achieve the prestigious Gold Arts Mark Award. Many of our former students have maintained links with us.
