What the college says
This study programme represents the next step after the Level 1 Motor Vehicle course in developing your skills as a motor vehicle technician. It will prepare you with the skills required to perform vehicle servicing and maintenance operations on a variety of modern vehicles. It will allow you to progress onto Year 3 or into an apprenticeship.
What you need to get on
GCSE's at grade 2 or above in English and Maths. You will also need to have completed a Level 1 Motor Vehicle course.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
