The A-Level qualification in Media Studies will encourage you to develop your interest and engagement in the media which surrounds us, through theoretical and practical exploration of different platforms. You will examine your media consumption widely, independently and critically. Through the course’s introduction to the theoretical framework through which we study Media, you will learn to use critical concepts and terminology with understanding and discrimination. You will be encouraged to examine and develop your understanding of varying forms of media and its influential role in today's society as well as contemporary and historical media issues.
