Are you interested in the media around you and how it shapes our lives? Are you analytical, imaginative, creative and keen to involve yourself in real media production? Would you like to acquire a broad range of analytical and technological skills that you can employ across many different subject areas? If so, you should consider studying Media Studies as an option. Within the Media course, you will examine the development of media institutions and analyse and explore a wide variety of media including: advertising and marketing, the music industry, newspapers, the film industry, radio, video game industry, TV in the global age and online media.
