Media Studies is a challenging course which offers students the opportunity to develop a critical and analytical approach to the changing media environment which surrounds them. Students will explore how media texts are constructed and they will also create original media texts for the coursework component.

What you need to get on

At least GCSE Grade 4 in English Language. No previous study of Media at GCSE is required. For continuation to Year 13 grades in Year 12 Media Studies need to demonstrate potential for A Level success.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
