The course offers the opportunity to develop analytical and creative skills producing practical work in a range of media forms (print, broadcast and e-media). The department is well-established and has a history of students choosing to study Film and Media based subjects at University with many then moving on to work in the industry professionally.

What you need to get on

Entry to Hinchley Wood Sixth Form is dependent on achieving 7 GCSE passes, comprising level 9 - 4 grades. A minimum of grade 4 is required in Maths and English; as well as a Grade 4 in GCSE Media, if Media not taken as a GCSE then a Grade 5 in GCSE English Language.
