To study Further Maths at A level requires a real passion and enjoyment of the subject. Further Maths provides a chance to explore new and/or more sophisticated mathematical concepts. As well as learning new areas of pure maths, such as matrices and complex numbers, you will study further applications of mathematics in mechanics, including Newton's laws of motion and vectors, and statistics, including Poisson distribution and bivariate data.
