What the college says
Core Mathematics is for everyone. It is diverse, engaging and essential in equipping students with the right skills to reach their future destinations, whatever they may be. This course will suit students who are also studying Psychology, Sciences and/or Geography. During the course you will study statistical techniques, critical path and risk analysis, graphical techniques. There will be two written examinations at the end of the two years. This is a two year course at AS equivalency.
What you need to get on
5+ GCSEs graded 4-9, including 4+ in both Maths and English.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

The A-level-equivalent step, and what universities and employers ask for.
