What the college says
This new course is designed for learners who achieve grade 4 or above in their GCSE Maths but are not intending to study more advanced maths after that. The Core Maths qualification is designed to be useful for learners in their everyday lives; it can be considered a 'mathematical literacy' course.

Total point score 30 or higher from best 7 GCSEs including English Language and Mathematics graded 4 or higher
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
