The Makeup Professional Level 2 is a vocational qualification for learners seeking a career as an employed and/or self-employed hair and make-up artist. This qualification has been specifically designed to help you develop the knowledge and skills to prepare learners for employment as a occasion or media make-up artist.

What you need to get on

You will need 4 GCSE's at Grade 3 or above. One of the 4 GCSE's to be Maths or English Language at Grade 3 (or Functional Skill level 1) to study at this level. If you have a beginner/Introductory qualification in the subject you want to study and a maths or English Language GCSE at Grade 3 (or Functional Skill level 1) you can study at this level.
