What the college says

Perspectives on Science was developed to encourage students to promote discussion and debate of historical, philosophical and ethical questions associated with science. Whilst supporting their love of Science, this qualification allows students to showcase a range of skills that that would otherwise not be assessed in traditional Science A Level subjects. Students will gain confidence in how to conduct research independently and deliver their findings in a number of ways. 'The eventual goal is that students should learn to develop, and defend, their own point of view on a range of scientific issues'.
