Maths is for everyone. It is diverse, engaging and essential in equipping students with the right skills to reach their future destination, whatever that may be. This qualification is designed to support and enable students to engage with, explore, enjoy and succeed in Mathematics. The course is aimed at students who wish to take Mathematics further and to use the context of real-life scenarios to do so. It will support students' other studies at further and higher education and the skills learnt will be useful in future employment, as well as in everyday life.

What you need to get on

A minimum Attainment 8 score of 60. A grade 6 in GCSE English Language and Maths. A grade 6 in the subject you wish to study (or two grade 6s if you wish to study a science and took Combined Science at GCSE). Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
