This course will provide you with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills you need to achieve your future goals.The Level 3 National Foundation Diploma in Applied Science (Year 1 out of 2) is an advanced, technical qualification equivalent to 1.5 A-level in science and allows you to progress to L3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Applied science for year 2. Based at our state-of-the-art laboratories, you will get to perform real experiments and hands-on assignments using industry-standard equipment and be taught how to analyse your results. This course allows you to then tailor your modules to the scientific area that most interests you, with study options that include mathematical tools and calculations, biology, chemistry, physics and research in general scientific knowledge.

What you need to get on

5 GCSES at grade 9-4 including both English Language/Literature and Maths or a Distinction/Merit on a level 2 Diploma will be required.
