Our Applied Science course gives students the opportunity to explore scientific principles and applications across a range of subjects. Whether it’s researching the latest advancements in genetic engineering, exploring the uses of cutting edge physics in medicine, or developing a mastery of various laboratory based techniques, this course is ideal for anyone who has a clear scientific or health related career path that they want to progress in, or for anyone who just has a keen interest in Science, and can’t wait to take that passion even further. It allows students to fully appreciate the importance of Science in today’s world, along with how it is interwoven into everyday life, industry and research. This Advanced Level vocational course is equivalent to three A Levels and offers an excellent combination of practical and academic study in preparation for university and employment. This course also allows students to specialise in their chosen area of Science during their second year of study.
