Level 3 Extended Project
at The Manor Academy · school or sixth form
What the college says
EPQ allows students to undertake a project on the topic of their own choice. Students are assessed on their ability to plan, research, develop and evaluate their projects. The students can choose the format of their project for example; a written report, an artefact, a performance or an electronic artefact (e.g. a website, computer game etc). Previous titles have included; ‘designing and building a summer house’, ‘Is it feasible to colonize Mars?’ & ‘Investigate the use of stem cells to treat diabetes’. This qualification is highly regarded by Universities, FE colleges and employers as it allows students to develop essential skills as well as showing that students can complete a project independently.
