The course lasts for about 12 months with high fliers able to achieve the qualification in 6 months. This course is for those working in the social care setting with less supervision or as senior care workers. It is also for those who are seeking such position in the care sector. The qualification is again a progression for candidates who already possess the level 2 qualification. To receive the certificate a candidate has to achieve a minimum of 58 credits including 28 mandatory credits.
