What the college says
This level 3 work-based qualification is the mandatory qualification for Residential Childcare, as specified by Ofsted. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: supporting children and young people to set and review goals; key working; care planning and reviews; resident’s meetings and multi-agency working. The qualification is assessed by being observed in the workplace and completing e-learning and written tasks. You need to be working in a suitable role for a minimum of 15 hours per week.
