What the college says

Mathematical Studies has been designed to maintain and develop real-life skills. What we study is not purely theoretical or abstract; it is mathematics that can be applied on a dayto-day basis in work, study or life and includes a financial maths element. It will also help with some A Level subjects, especially since many A Level specifications have an increased mathematical element, in particular with Science, Geography, Business Studies, Psychology, Economics and Computer Science. We require that students taking these A Levels without Maths A Level should study Mathematical Studies.
