Progression course for progressing level 2 electrical installation students; priority being given to internal progressing students however consideration will be given where there is availability to external applicants but interviews will not be offered until late August. This technical qualification focuses on the development of knowledge and practical skills needed for working in the electrotechnical industry, which will prepare you to enter an electrotechnical apprenticeship programme This qualification is aimed at progressing students who are not yet employed in the electrotechnical industry but wish to learn the skills needed to progress further and help them embark on an electrotechnical apprenticeship programme.
What you need to get on
This course requires 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above to include English at Grade 4 or above and Maths at Grade 4 or above. Level 2 Diploma/Technical Certificate Electrical Installation is also required. Within the first six weeks on program, you will be assessed in relation to behaviour, attendance and progress. Dependent on these your program of study may change.
