What the college says
This qualification is for anyone who wishes to work as an electrician in the building services industry. It has been designed to deliver a high level of occupational skills and provide a platform from which to progress through further learning or into industry employment. This qualification is supported by the JIB (Joint Industry Board). This industry qualification is acknowledged by the Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (ECS).
What you need to get on
4 GCSEs grade 9-4 (A*-C) and a related Level 2 electrical qualification (at merit or higher), including English and maths. Equivalence of these qualifications will be considered.
