You can develop your own viewpoints and are prepared to argue your point in both written and oral communication. You must have an inquisitive mind and you enjoy a challenge. You need to have good GCSE grades in at least one Humanities subject and be able to learn and remember key dates and people. You must be prepared to talk and debate in class and ask questions. This course combines well with all Science, English and Humanities Subjects

What you need to get on

A minimum of 5 subjects at Grade 4 or above, including at least one of GCSE English Language and GCSE Mathematics. A minimum of a grade 4 in English Language/Literature A minimum of a grade 4 in either a humanities (Geography or History) or a Social Science qualification

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
