You would be suitable for this course if you like studying plays, poetry and novels and writing about them. You need to have a GCSE grade 6 in English Literature; find reading and analysing texts interesting and enjoy writing analytical essays as well as producing your own original writing. This course combines well with any of the Arts and Humanities subjects.

What you need to get on

A minimum of 5 subjects at Grade 4 or above, including at least one of GCSE English Language and GCSE Mathematics. A minimum of a grade 6 in GCSE English Literature

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
