What you need to get on

General College entry requirements. GCSE PE is required at grade 4 or above if studied and taken at high school. Pass in BTEC Sport (if studied and taken at high school). GCSE Science grade 4 or above, grade 4/4 if Combined Science. Weekly playing, training and competing at an external club in one chosen sport. GCSE English at grade 4 or above.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
