An introduction to hairdressing to become a qualified stylist. Employed in a salon where training is undertaken with off the job skills and knowledge being delivered at the Academy.
What you need to get on
There are no specific entry requirements but each individual will undergo initial basic skills assessment to establish if any support will be necessary. Entry 3 and above would be acceptable entry 2 and below referral may be necessary.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
