As part of this company you will be introduced to the fundamental skills and industry training required to work in the performing arts. As an introduction to the world of performance, the set-up of this company is specifically designed for those of you who do not have much experience of the performing arts, or do not have the appropriate entry qualifications to apply for company 2 or perhaps simply lack confidence.

What you need to get on

A successful interview, plus: an audition, 4 GCSEs at minimum grade D including English Language and maths or equivalent demonstration of an interest in the Performing Arts, prepared to work hard if you wish to progress to the next level of Company, be a team player, related work experience or some appropriate practical experience

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
