This course provides a wide-ranging opportunity to begin to develop and expand your skills in performing and production arts. Across a packed year and nine units you will study acting, dance and singing and make use of the skills you develop in a series of exciting public performances. You will work from scripts and may also devise some of your performances. The course is an exciting journey fusing song, dance, acting and your imagination in a celebration of your potential and the diversity of talent in your company.

What you need to get on

A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 9 � 3 OR a Level 1 qualification AND a grade 4 in either Maths or English

How you are assessed

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
