The Level 2 Diploma programme is a vocational course covering all aspects of performance including devising, performing and professional practice. Delivered by experienced and specialised performing arts professionals you will be able to build upon your previous performance experience supporting your progression onto a Level 3 course or employment.
What you need to get on
You will need to have a least one of the following: 2 GCSEs at grade D / grade 3 or above, including English Language or Level 1 qualification in a relevant vocational subject area and GCSE English Language at grade D / grade 3 or above or Level 1 Functional Skills in English. You are also required to attend an interview and audition.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
