If you are hoping to work as a florist, this is the course for you! This course is designed to give you an insight into the floristry industry and teach you the basic skills of the trade. Industry experienced staff will help you learn all the floristry tasks expected of a junior florist through lots of practical sessions and a relevant work placement.

What you need to get on

A range of GCSEs at grade 3 and above (or equivalent), plus a dedicated and professional approach towards commercial floristry skills, or Foundation Level 1 in Floristry.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
