Our course is suitable for those with basic floristry skills and knowledge, and beginners. As part of your studies, you�ll complete a minimum of five days (40 hours) supervised work in a floristry business. It�s the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience and put your learning into practice. Our Level 2 Diploma has a strong emphasis on practical training. You�ll experiment with different flowers, foliage and decorative elements; learn how to select and care for flowers, create harmonious colour schemes, and arrange floral displays for different occasions and settings.

There are no specific entry requirements for this course. However, you will need good numeracy and literacy skills.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
