This course is ideal for learners who wish to develop their awareness of mental health and a range of mental health problems, as well as gain an awareness of how to work and interact with individuals with these conditions. Anyone who currently works in health and social care settings would benefit from this course, as well as those who would like to raise their awareness of mental health for personal reasons. This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 or above.

What you need to get on

To be eligible for funding, you must live in England and have resided in the UK or EU/EEA for the last 3 years, must be aged 19 or over, must not have previously studied the course you are applying for or another similar course and must not currently be enrolled on another government-funded education programme. If you are aged between 19 and 23 - you must hold a full level 2 qualification If you're not eligible for funding, you can purchase the course online if you are over the age of 16.

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
