The course is aimed at anybody who wants to expand their knowledge of infection and how to prevent and control it. The course will provide a general understanding and in-depth knowledge of infection prevention and control. Upon completion of this course, you should be able to understand how infection occurs and the steps to take to reduce the spread of infection.

What you need to get on

To be eligible for funding, you must live in England and have resided in the UK or EU/EEA for the last 3 years, must be aged 19 or over, must not have previously studied the course you are applying for or another similar course and must not currently be enrolled on another government-funded education programme. If you are aged between 19 and 23 - you must hold a full level 2 qualification If you're not eligible for funding, you can purchase the course online if you are over the age of 16.

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
