The Level 2 Diploma in Accounting and Business offers students the opportunity to gain the skills demanded by employers, whilst achieving a nationally recognised qualification that could ultimately lead to the full AAT Accounting Qualification. The course will provide you with a range of basic accountancy, payroll and employability skills to support your entry into the workplace
What you need to get on
Minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade D or above (if this does not include English and maths these MUST be studied as part of the Level 2 programme) or Level 1 Functional Skills equivalent in English and maths; successful interview and initial assessment; successful completion of Level 1 programme (progressing learners).
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
