This course is designed to introduce learners to the aviation industry, airport operations, aircraft knowledge, and employability skills linked to aviation careers. The programme combines classroom-based learning with practical activities, research tasks, and industry-related projects. This is a full time study programme. Through a range of different assessment methods, under pinning knowledge will be assessed against industry benchmarks, to ensure learners are equipped with the knowledge and skills to progress into employment or further study. This is a full time study programme. You will study 6 units which include the Aviation industry, Aviation terminology, Aviation locational geography, Customer Service in aviation, Teamwork in Aviation and Preparation for employment within aviation.

What you need to get on

Level 1 (Foundation) - 3 GCSEs grade 1 or above. .You will be interviewed for this course, should be enthusiastic about working in the aviation sector and able to participate in work experience.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A first step that builds towards Level 2.
