This 2-week on-site programme provides a direct route for career or study progression within the aviation industry. It will help to put unemployed or low income learners on the right path to aviation employment. This qualification is suitable if you are aged 19 and above. It provides an introduction to the aviation industry and aims to give learners the opportunity to progress onto various other qualifications in the travel and tourism sector. This programme with be growth of our Projects provision as the course will be delivered as part of East Midlands Airport’s Pre-Employment Programme for Adult Learners. This programme is an ideal place to start to extend your skills, knowledge and confidence.

What you need to get on

There are no formal entry requirements but you must: be aged 19+ have lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years be able to show proof of identity be on an income below £20,319 or claiming eligible benefits

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
