The Level 1 Introductory Diploma develops the skills and knowledge that you need for a career in IT, offering an introduction to the Level 2 and 3 courses. Designed to meet the needs of today�s businesses, this hands-on, applied qualification gives you a chance to gain a nationally recognised vocational qualification and progress to employment or further education in the IT sector. You will use Microsoft applications such as Powerpoint, Word and Excel as well as developing a web page, graphics and animation skills. You will also develop fundamental life skills, for example being organised, working with others, personal development planning and a requirement to improve your English and maths.

What you need to get on

A minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 3 - 1 or successful completion of an Entry Level programme.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
