This course is for you if you want an insight to the requirements of a career in the, Public Services. Such as the Police Service, the Fire & Rescue Service, the Ambulance Service, the Armed Forces, Prison and Security Services or HM Customs and Excise. The course provides a basic overview of the skills and helps you to develop the mental, personal and physical qualities abilities required in your chosen service.

What you need to get on

Entry requires 4 GCSEs at grade 2 (E) or above, or an entry-level related qualification, plus adequate English and maths. Mature learners with experience are welcome. You should have a strong interest in public services and a commitment to succeed. Expect practical and fitness sessions indoors and outdoors. No starting fitness level needed, just a positive attitude to improve.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
