What the college says
This course will introduce you to the role of public services � including the police, prisons, ambulance, fire and rescue services, army, navy, marines and air force. The Level 1 course will prepare you with knowledge and study skills that will then enable you to study Level 2 in a subject area of your choice. The course combines some practical activities as well as theory to give you an overview of a wide range of subjects.
What you need to get on
GCSE grade 9-2 (A*-E) in English and maths. Equivalence of these qualifications will be considered. Evidence of a commitment to learn and the ability to study at this level shown at interview.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A first step that builds towards Level 2.
