What the college says
Data Analytics is the use of IT to equip students with the confidence to use knowledge and skills relevant for progression to a career or undergraduate study in IT or data-related fields. It covers the fundamentals of data analytics, Big Data, data modelling with spreadsheets and databases, the Internet of Everything and digital marketing. You’ll build a range of valuable skills that will help you in further study, work, and everyday life. You’ll learn how to communicate your ideas clearly to different people, develop creative solutions to real problems, and manage tasks as part of a bigger project—just like you would in university or the workplace. You’ll also improve your time management by planning your work to meet deadlines and learn to reflect on your progress so you can keep improving in the future.
