Designed in collaboration with experts spanning the breadth of the sector, the BTEC national extended certificate in Information Technology focuses on the skills, knowledge and understanding that today’s universities and employers demand. It is also about developing the behaviours and attributes needed to progress and succeed in the future. The new course offers internally assessed units that will equip students with a wide range of essential practical skills and theoretical knowledge through the Use of Social Media in Business and Data Modelling units, as well as examined units on Information Technology Systems and Creating Systems to Manage Information.
