What the college says
BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Information Technology. Normally studied in year 12 and 13. The BTEC subject is normally studied for two years but may be completed in one year in exceptional circumstance. Ongoing teacher assessment to achieve grading in the individual modules takes place. There are a mixture of Compulsory and optional units. On completion of sufficient units your award will be cashed in. Successful graded range from Pass to Distinction*. UCAS points associated with the grades are Distinction* 140, Distinction 120, Merit 80, Pass 40.
What you need to get on
? In line with the entry requirements for a Pathway 3 subject. ? You need not have studied ICT before. ? You must have English Language at a grade C.
